HOW TO USE THE ORDINARY BALANCE SET

SQUALANE CLEANSER: A Gentle, Moisturizing Facial Cleanser A gentle cleansing product formulated to target makeup removal whilst leaving the skin feeling smooth and moisturized. The formula incorporates Squalane, alongside other lipophilic esters that are gentle, moisturizing, efficient in dissolving makeup and facial impurities and increasing the spreadability of the product. Being non-comedogenic and soap-free, this formula is designed to be gentle enough for daily use, without over-drying the skin, making it suitable for all skin types.

SALICYLIC ACID 2% MASQUE: With 2% Salicylic Acid, Vegetable Charcoal, Amazonian Clays and Squalane Salicylic Acid 2% Masque is formulated to target lackluster tone and textural irregularities. The formula, infused with charcoal and clays, aims to enhance the appearance of smoothness and clarity, leaving the skin feeling refreshed. The structure of salicylic acid facilitates its lipophilicity and miscibility with the lipids located on the surface of the skin. Leave on for no longer than 10 minutes in order to maximize the exfoliating benefits.

NIACINAMIDE 10% + ZINC 1%: High-Strength Vitamin and Mineral Blemish Formula Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) is indicated to reduce the appearance of skin blemishes and congestion. A high 10% concentration of this vitamin is supported in the formula by zinc salt of pyrrolidone carboxylic acid to balance visible aspects of sebum activity. 

NATURAL MOISTURIZING FACTORS: This formula offers non-greasy hydration that acts as a direct topical supplement of impaired NMF components. It contains 11 amino acids, phospholipids, alpha/beta/gamma fatty acids, triglycerides, sterols and sterol esters, glycerin, ceramide precursors, urea, saccharides, sodium PCA and hyaluronic acid. It offers immediate hydration and lasting results with continued use.

Patch tests are an easy way to help predict if you may experience a negative initial reaction to a new product. It is recommended to perform a patch test before incorporating any new product into your regimen. We have outlined a general method for conducting your own patch test below based on the type of product.

• Apply a small amount of the product onto a clean area of skin on the upper forearm.
• Keep the area dry. If the product has a specified duration of use, rinse off after this time has elapsed.
• Otherwise rinse off after 24 hours.
• If any redness, burning, itching, blistering or irritation is observed at any time throughout the test, do not use the product.
