Try This: Purple Plum Eye Makeup
Hello, September! As summer comes to an end we are so ready to start pulling out the darker makeup shades and rocking the moodier looks! This purple plum look by @makeupbyemma is what you'll find the Socialite Beauty team rocking this month. Keep reading to learn how to recreate this look using some amazing #greenbeauty products from GloMinerals, Lily Lolo, and Youngblood Cosmetics.
CREATE THE LOOK
To create this look, you’ll need three shadows: a light base shade, a medium lid shade and a dark liner shade. Apply the custard shade Youngblood Cosmetics Eyeshadow in 'Ora' all over the lid, from the lashline to browbone to neutralize any redness or discoloration on the eyelid. Sweep the gloMinerals Eye Shadow in 'Dove' on the lower lid, up to the crease. Starting at the inner corner of the eye and moving to the outer corner of the eye, apply the golden shade gloMinerals Jeweled Eye Pencil in 'Baroque' to the crease and lower lash line and blend well. Finish it off with the Youngblood Cosmetics 'Eye-Luminating Duo' in your tear ducts and brow bone, apply the shimmer shade to the corners of the eye or lash line and to give eyebrows a lift simply apply the matte or shimmer shade beneath your brow bones. Now for the fun! Line your waterline with Youngblood Cosmetics Intense Color Eye Liner in 'Passion'.
Curl your lashes, then apply 2 to 3 coats of mascara (Lily Lolo Mascara or gloMinerals Volumizing Mascara in Black), brushing from base to tips of lashes. Roll the wand as you go to separate lashes and avoid clumps.
Finish off the look with a great brow.
